Frequently Asked Questions.
Everything you need to know about VibeHard capabilities and availability.
Which editions are available today?
The Community Edition, version 2.0.1, is available today. It is free for personal use. The Software Factory tier has a waitlist, Agentic Workflows is in early access by application, and Enterprise Setup starts with a consultation. None of the paid tiers is on sale yet.
Can I use the Community Edition at work?
Not under the free license. The Community Edition is licensed for personal use only. Using it for a business, a client or a paid product needs the commercial-use license, which comes with the Software Factory plan ($199/mo).
What happens if I apply for Agentic Workflows now?
You join the early-access list. We review applications in order and contact you to scope your first workflows before anything is set up or charged.
Is VibeHard Cloud available for the Community Edition?
VibeHard Cloud gate offload is in closed testing. Pricing will be announced when it opens.
Do I need VibeHard Cloud to use the factory?
No. The Community Edition runs on your machine and is driven by your agent over MCP, the standard way AI agents connect to tools. The security scanners run in containers on your machine. If your machine cannot run containers, those gates cannot run and the chain cannot pass; Cloud, which would run them for you, is in closed testing and not on sale.
How do the 44 gates run?
On your machine, as part of every full build. Each gate checks one thing, such as static analysis, secret scanning, dependency vulnerabilities, completeness, tests, API contracts or rollback. Gates that do not apply to your project report n/a. On Linux, generated code is built and tested in a sandbox with no network except for dependency installs. On Mac the sandbox blocks network and limits writes but does not yet isolate reads. If no sandbox is available, the build says so.
Does VibeHard see my code?
The factory itself makes no calls to AI model providers; a network guard in the daemon blocks them. Your agent does the reasoning, so your code goes to the model provider your agent already uses, under your agreement with that provider.
What happens to my software if I stop using VibeHard?
It stays yours and keeps working. Software the factory builds lives in your own repository and does not need VibeHard to run.
What does BotHard do today?
BotHard is the factory’s repair loop. When a gate fails during a build, it hands the failure to your agent, takes the fix and re-runs every gate, up to ten attempts. Production repair for hosted workflows is coming soon, and a person will approve every fix.
